Students come from all over the world (USA, Poland, Puerto Rico, South Africa, i.e.) to partake in the educational research programs at JSU. The summer institute consists of lectures, mentorship, and knowledge base information necessary to begin a career in computational chemistry. The institute’s main research focus is the development of efficient computational technologies and applications of modern methods of computational chemistry investigations of molecular structures, properties, and interactions. After completion of the summer institute, students are invited to present their research at the annual Fall Conferences on Current Trends in Computational Chemistry (CCTCC).
